Kees Verbunt, Belgium
I have been a decoy since 1996. I earned as 16 year old boy my decoy license for Belgian Ring in 1998 and one year later my license for Mondioring.
Since then I decoyed the World Championship (2002 Belgium), the World Championships FMBB (2004 Spain) and 4 National championships.
And as winner of the Belgian Ring superselction 2008 I am selected to decoy the Belgian Ring championships.
Since 1993 I have trained dogs first for obedience and agility and later (because I wanted to do something with more action) in 1996 I started to do Belgian Ring and Mondioring. Since then I played with 5 dogs a combination of Belgian- and Mondioring and have competed in more then 16 finales of championships.
Jeremy Norton, Minnesota
Jeremy 'El Viejo' Norton is psyched to be part of the 2009 USMRA Championships. He has been decoying Mondio for just over two years and loves the mental challenges each trial offers dog/handler teams. While nowhere as stylish or coordinated as Mr Tim Bartlett, Jeremy also loves to accessorize, so he really likes the accessory attack. He enjoys the physical challenges of decoying and learning the psychological skills good decoys employ (whether or not they're as old, creaky, and slow as Jeremy...)
Jeremy is certified in PSA and French Ring as well, and he writes some of the most grammatically correct internet posts around... When not sweating on dogs, he is a full-time firefighter/EMT in Minneapolis and actively encouraging his two stellar daughters to get involved with dog training.
As ever, he is grateful for the encouragement and endless help he has received from so many veteran Mondioringers. Best of luck to all competing!
Brad Hardin, Oklahoma
Brad started decoying with the Colorado Mondio Ring Club in 2005, and became a USMRA certified decoy in May of 2007. Brad has since certified in PSA as well as the National Working Dog Association (NWDA), and Federation American Bulldog (FedAB). Brad currently trains with Matt Moore in OKC OK, and also travels to Colorado, Texas, and Illinois every chance he gets to further his knowledge in decoying and dog training. Brad is very honored to have the oppurtunity to decoy the USMRA National Championships 2009
